Revelation Chapter 1 serves as the dramatic opening to the final book of the Bible. Jesus touched him and said:
“Fear not; I am the first and the last.”
Christ declared His victory over death and Hades and instructed John to record the things he had seen, the present realities, and the future events yet to come.
